Fernando Amaro
Chairman and CEO
Fernando Amaro, the Chairman of TICE, is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of operational experience. Recognized as "The Growth Architect," Fernando focuses on improving sales, marketing, and operations to drive exponential growth. Before joining AIM Capital, he spearheaded Celestica's Utilities and Industrial Connectivity group, growing the market segment to over $200M in revenue within five years. Fernando also led Falco Electronics, taking the company from a few million to over $120M in revenue and expanding it globally. Additionally, he has served on private company boards, including Grupo Pit, a multi-line family-owned business with diverse interests. Fernando's collaborative and results-oriented approach has made him an instrumental force in shaping TICE's growth strategy.
Sam Goodman
Board Member
Sam is a seasoned attorney and private markets investor known for his expertise in mergers and acquisitions. As a Managing Director at Five Points Family Ventures, he is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and monitoring investments on behalf of the firm's principals and affiliated operating companies. With a background in international law firms McDermott, Will & Emery and Greenberg Traurig, Sam has extensive experience in corporate advisory matters, particularly representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. He also serves on private company boards and shares his knowledge as an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, teaching transaction skills. Sam's negotiation prowess and commitment to driving successful deals make him a valuable asset to the team.
Steve Pizziol
Board Member
Steve, also known as "The Strategic Visionary," is the CEO of The Alternative Board in Miami. At TAB, Steve partners with Miami business owners to create and facilitate Advisory Boards. Prior to TAB, Steve served as the head of the Asia Pacific Region for Domino's Pizza. During his tenure, he successfully scaled the Domino's brand in existing markets and established its presence in new markets such as China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Bangladesh, and Cambodia. Steve's exceptional leadership contributed to significant growth, expanding the APAC region from around 1000 units to well over 4000 units in just 12 years. With his wealth of global QSR and multi-unit franchise experience, Steve brings invaluable insights to the TICE Board.
Daniel Wilson
Board Member
Dan, known as "The Steward," holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eat'n Park Hospitality Group, Inc. With over 30 years of food service financial and operating experience, he brings a wealth of expertise to TICE. Daniel oversees financial and strategic planning, as well as functions such as information technology, supply chain, distribution, legal, government affairs, risk management, and M&A. He is also a board member of several private companies and non-profit community organizations, recognized as CFO of the Year by the Pittsburgh Business Times in 2020.
